Born in the village of Droskovo, Orel Gubernia, in 1892.
In 1910-1913 attended F.I. Rerberg's Studio and in â 1913-1917 I.I. Mashkov's Painting and Drawing Studio in Moscow.
From 1914 exhibited her works, contributing to 'World of Art' and 'The Knave of Diamonds' exhibitions.
In 1920-1921 Sofronova taught drawing at Orel's secondary schools and at the State Free Art Studios of Tver.
Associated with the Society of Moscow Artists (Obmokhu) and the '13' Group.
Did paintings, graphic works and book illustrations.
Died in Moscow in 1966.
