In 1954-1959 attended the Pamyati 1905 goda art school of Moscow.

Since 1963 Shelkovsky has exhibited his works.

In 1976 emigrated to France.

Between 1979 and 1985 published in Paris the A-Ya magazine on non-conformist art.

Does modelling and graphic works.

Lives in Paris and Moscow.
